Founded by Bill Griffin and supported by Karmarama, social media startup Crowdwish exists to link together people’s hopes, dreams, ambitions and desires. It’s designed to bring people together to create outcomes that are more likely to happen when lots of people want the same thing.

Wishes are recorded in 100 characters or less. You can search for wishes and add your voice to them, or create your own and look to gather support. Crowdwish is defined by the promise to "make things happen every day". Every 24 hours, Crowdwish takes the most popular demand and does whatever it can to action it, on behalf of the people who asked for it.

I helped Griffin take Crowdwish from the kernel of an idea to a successful beta launch. One month in, and Crowdwish had invited David Attenborough for tea, found the perfect skinny jeans, helped a lot of people to relax, and joined the fight against Leukaemia.
